REES 2009
The 2009 Research in Engineering Education Symposium was held July 20-23, 2009 in Palm Cove, Queensland, Australia. This conference followed REES 2008 in Davos and ICREE in 2007 in Hawaii. The intent of REES 2009 was to continue to build a global community of researchers in engineering education. With this in mind, there was a broad range of themes at the conference with very active participants engaged over the three days. It is fair to say that a good time was had by all - both in intellectual engagement around the topics and also less formally through the social program. News about REES 2010 will be available soon.
The full program with all the papers is available here. Click on the Session Headers to see notes from each session. You can then add your own comments. (You will need to request write access first). These notes are still being assembled.
The conference was generously supported by the sponsors shown below.
The conference was chaired by Roger Hadgraft (the University of Melbourne) and the Program Chair was Llewellyn Mann (CQUniversity). The International Planning Committee provided steerage. The PCO for the event was Sally Brown of Conference Connections (sally.brown@uq.net.au), who did an excellent job, ensuring many happy conference participants.
